Founder of
SUBSPACE, Jean-Claude Protta, swiss engineer born in Geneva
in 1942 practicing diving since 1958. He becomes National
Diving Monitor (FFESSM) in 1965 and received the title of
CMAS National Instructor (M****) from the Swiss Diving Federation
in 1966.
In 1958, he constructs his first waterproof
housing for an old still camera Kodak® 620. Since then,
he never stopped designing, construct or modify underwater
housings, strobes and lights for photography, movie and more
recently for the video.
In 1990, back from a ten years journey
around the world, he decides to found his own Company to share
his experience and his passion for everything that touches
the underwater images.
The Company's goal is to create and
manufacture underwater pictures equipments of very high quality
and to bring new ideas coming from the practice. |
